37 year old woman from Dothan, Alabama undergoes tummy tuck

This 37 year old woman from Dothan, Alabama had significant abdominal skin laxity, stretch marks, and muscle separation after pregnancy. She underwent an abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), during which the redundant skin and many of the stretch marks were removed. The muscle separation was repaired with internal sutures (rectus plication), correcting the protuberant appearance of her abdomen. She had an excellent result after surgery, with a very well-defined, flat, trim abdomen. The horizontal scar across the lower abdomen was designed to be placed within underwear or swimsuit lines, so as not to be visible when wearing clothing.
